Coach Madison

Madison began rowing in 2008 with Coach Florin. She rowed for North Allegheny for her Freshman and Sophomore year and then finished out her high school career with Pittsburgh Rowing club coached by Coach Florin.

She was recruited to row for Indiana University. During her time at IU, she received three Big Ten Bronze Medals at her conference championships. Her sophomore year was the first time Indiana was invited to NCAA Championship regatta, and the team has continued to attend ever since. During her entire career on the team, she was in the 1st Varsity 8. She graduated with a degree in Secondary Education: Mathematics and a Computer Educators License.

Post college she lived in Sarasota, FL for two years. During this time, she was a member of Sarasota Crew’s Pre-Elite team. She competed at USRowing’s Fall Speed Order and National Selection Regatta. At these regattas, she raced against the most elite rowers in the country.

Besides training full time, she was a Middle School Rowing Coach for Sarasota Crew.
